This piece is a character piece that I wrote mainly on piano, with many many layers. If it were to be performed live, it might actually take like six hands to play. Or a good pianist. Anyways. This piece is inspired by a character from a series of novels I am in the midst of writing. The focus of this song is a girl named Jevuviele, who was outcast at a young age from her village on the shore. She somehow escaped to sea, after being full on chased from her home. she slowly drifted away on a raft she snagged from the dock, directionless, but a huge storm began to rage all around her. Her raft was wrecked and she was doomed. Until she was picked up by a traveling band of pirates. That's where the story really picks up.
