This is a single that I wrote in the midst of winter one year. I specifically remember waking up around 3:47 in the morning, with tears in my eyes, and being overwhelmed with emotion at the sight of falling snow outside my window. I immediately grabbed my ukulele and wrote the lyrics down, and boom. There was the song. The song itself took a few more takes in the morning (thank you morning voice) but I was not yet at the stage of writing percussion where I wanted to be, so the percussion that I later added didn't quite satisfy me. I have more recently completely re-recorded the piece in my new musical voice (with synthesizer, added voice parts, percussion, and more, while keeping the same energy and vibe, and core instruments from before. I hope to release the remastered version of 'Snowing' in the coming months, as a single or within an album, or maybe as both.
