This Piece is one that goes in a collection of little songs that I've written that has a very specific yet-untold story behind it. I plan to actually write a short book to go with it or to eventually create an animation for it, but in the meantime, I can tell that story here. There was a guy (cool right? good start.) And he lived near the beach. every day he went to the shore, sat down, and looked out on the sun setting over the water. He did this alone, for many years, but what he didn't know was that there was a lady who lived in the sea, who did the very opposite. She peeked over the waves at the rising moon. One day, to both of their surprise, their eyes met, and they fell in love. They continued to both come back every day, but now with a new reason. They wanted to see each other instead, even though it was so very improbable they would actually get to meet and speak with one another formally. Eventually, after a great many distant meetings, divided by the sea, something incredible and impossible happened. An elevator appeared at the top of the sea, on the horizon. The man saw it, tried to make his way over to it, and when he eventually did, he saw that it was made of glass, and that it was floating there completely without mechanism. He got in and saw a button that said 'C Floor,' and he clikced it as fast as he could. The Elevator took him on an adventure with the Lady of the Waves, and she showed him the whole of the sea, and every day after that, they met through the use of this elevator. There are also alternative recordings with lyrics about some dude sitting on the beach, with a shot glass and a snow cone. Those are fun too. I might release those. LOL.
